DAMPING VS. VENTRICULARIZATION

Here we see damping of the pressures from occlusion of the artery after cannulation.

Notice the stead decrease in systolic and diastolic pressures

Here we see ventricularization.  Notice that the waveform resembles a ventricular shape.

The systolic and diastolic stays relatively the same.  This is just as dangerous of a condition as damping.
